Max Jürgens advises national and international clients on all trade compliance issues. His legal practice focuses on advising on sanctions and embargoes, EU and US export control law, customs law issues and international human rights protection in supply chains, including deforestation-free supply chains and under the EU Forced Labour Ban. Max Jürgens is a regular lecturer in the field of trade compliance.
Max Jürgens studied law in Hamburg and Bangalore. He completed his legal clerkship in Hamburg, Berlin and Lusaka. Before becoming a lawyer, he worked as a specialist lecturer for the HZA Hamburg Customs Academy.
